“Il Brandano” restaurant with its spectacular terrace with panoramic views over the countryside serves traditional Tuscan cuisine with a modern twist using fresh and delicious produce from the area.
Il Brandano is open for lunch and dinner and offers daily specials and seasonal treats, such as local black and white truffles, funghi porcini, and olio nuovo just to name a few.
Our guests can choose to enjoy a refined 7-course “degustatione” menu or simply have a heartful plate of homemade pasta.
Some of the Tuscan dishes Chef regularily serves are salads of marinated artichokes with aged Pecorino cheese, fennel flan with mixed garden greens in a parmesan basket and red chicory topped with poached quail eggs. And the pastas. Ricotta and gorgonzola ravioli with red pepper sauce, pidgeon tortelli with grass pea puree, chocolate fettucini with white truffle and of course “pici” thick homemade pasta. There are main courses of stuffed rolled rabbit with roasted apples and pinenuts, glazed duck with cocoa beans and canellini , and of course the famous chargrilled Chianina beefsteak.
